The Beginning

I’m a Southern girl… born and raised in Arkansas!

When I was ten years old my father was offered a job with the Kennedy Administration.  Our family packed up and moved to Washington, DC. Even though I was young I understood the excitement of the times and I had a front-row seat to cultured people, history, monuments and museums.   That experience started my life long taste for – and love of – classy and beautiful people, places and things.

Then I grew up and my professional career and personal life collided… into Fabulosity!

I spent the first part of my career in Hollywood as a TV producer and corporate executive in the highly competitive world of broadcast media. I developed hours of branded programming for network and cable television companies. I loved it. I worked 900 hours a day. I had lots of success and got lots of accolades. I met and worked along side some really cool (and famous) people.

But, then I got to the point of “Been There, Done That, Now What?”

With our daughter turning two years old I wanted job flexibility.

Thus, Living Out Loud Enterprises, my brand and marketing consulting company was born. I have had the great fortune to have awesome and eclectic clients. From Heidi Murkoff’s brand What to Expect When You’re Expecting, to corporate giant Proctor and Gamble. I’ve had the incredible privilege, working with the Obama administration, to launch a tech clients’ safety app from the White House. All very cool.

But, there was one thing that was continuing to niggle in the back of my mind.

I wanted to create an on line business sharing what I REALLY love to do — entertaining friends and family in my home with simple, stunning style! And so MedoraHeilbron.com was born!

Now, you’re going to hear me ROAR… (thanks Katy Perry!)
